Wireless: The platform for automating and connecting the manufacturing enterprise
Live on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 2:00PM EDT
Wireless as a mission critical network, with the security and reliability expected by both IT and operations, is a reality in many world class manufacturing companies. Not only have these companies obtained the network performance they need, but they have avoided the costs of installing a wired network. Many manufacturers are relying more and more upon the enhanced reliability and security of wireless networks to optimize their processes through mobile applications such as error-proofing, inventory picking, maintenance, end-to-end traceability and true eKanBan.
Join Motorola and learn more about implementing an effective wireless network that provides the foundation for mobile applications across your enterprise.
You'll hear about:
- The benefits other manufacturing companies have achieved by implementing a wireless network to connect applications and automate processes
- Learning to trust a wireless network to deliver the same level of security & reliability as a wired network
- Achieving connectivity in areas across your operation previously thought of as "un-connectable"
- Tools that can help you champion wireless networking to support your mobile application needs
