Bob is the Director of Corporate Finance & Tax for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) where he has worked since December 2004. The NAM is the nation's largest industrial trade association, representing small and large manufacturers in every industrial sector and in all 50 states. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the NAM has 10 additional offices across the country. In his current role, Bob is responsible for representing the NAM on Capitol Hill on tax, pension and corporate governance issues. Bob also serves as the staff liaison to two of the NAM's public policy committees, the Retirement Security Task Force and Corporate Finance and Management Committee which are tasked with formulating lobbying positions on issues under their jurisdictions on behalf of the NAM. Before joining the NAM, Bob spent 4 years working for Financial Executives International, a trade association representing corporate CFOs and Treasurers, where he was responsible for benefit policy, technology and private company issues. Prior to FEI, Bob worked in the US Senate for nearly three years for Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) as professional staff at the Senate Special Committee on Aging and on the personal staff of former Senator Bob Smith (R-NH).

John Gimpert

Partner Risk Management Program for Manufacturers, Deloitte & Touche LLP

John is a national partner in our Assurance and Enterprise Risk Services practice and co-leads the Midwest region's Sarbanes-Oxley/Corporate Governance practice. He is also a member of Deloitte's Manufacturing Practice Leadership Council. In these roles, he is actively involved in shaping the firm's approach for assisting clients with achieving and sustaining Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and addressing their needs to improve their corporate governance. He is actively involved in developing and providing guidance to external audit teams regarding internal control attestation services and guiding the development of leading approaches for assessing internal controls. He has also assisted the senior management of several large public organizations to perform company-wide studies of their internal control structures in response to SEC investigations. During his over 20 years of risk and internal control experience he has served some of the firm's largest clients with designing and implementing enterprise risk management approaches, adopting internal control frameworks, and implementing internal control self-assessment programs and leading-edge internal control management programs to develop and implement practical, cost effective approaches for complying with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley. These approaches have included the utilization of our leading knowledgebases and technologies.

Don Conrad

IT Director of Product Realization Shared Services, Motorola, Inc.

Don has a BSEE from the Citadel and a MSEE from Case Western Reserve University. He has over 30 years industry experience with companies such as IBM, Data General, Digital Equipment Corporation, General Instrument and Motorola as an individual contributor and manager in engineering services as well as hardware and software design. In March of 2005 Don was appointed IT Director of Motorola's Product Realization Shared Services, which is responsible for ensuring that the global engineering community has the tools they need to successfully and effectively bring products to market. Previously Don held the position of Senior Director of Engineering Services for the Motorola Connected Home Solutions business, which provides design and support services in the areas of RF, Mechanical, Compliance, and Component Engineering as well as ECAD Libraries, Technical Publications, Configuration Management, Engineering Computing and PDM Program Management. He has served on eight Motorola Corporate committees as well as contributing to the Environmental Compliance and Preferred Parts Programs.
