Chris Chiappinelli joined Managing Automation as Managing Editor in 2005 and became editor of ManagingAutomation.com in 2007. Prior to that, he spent five years as associate editor and online manager of Area Development, a magazine dedicated to facility planning for manufacturers, and the leading publication in its field. Chris attended the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and graduated with a degree in magazine communications.
Mark brings 25 years of Supply Chain Execution experience in warehousing, distribution and manufacturing operations and in technology-based solutions.
As Motorola’s Solutions lead for warehousing, Mark works closely with customers across all industries to assist them in applying real-time mobility tools to their unique business and warehouse operational needs. He works closely with business partners to develop leading solutions for the warehouse marketplace. In addition, he leads the definition of requirements for future product investments to service the warehouse market.
Prior to joining Motorola, Mark was director of engineering and systems at Henry Schein, a Fortune-500 healthcare wholesale distributor, where he was responsible for the warehouse facilities, processes and technology globally.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Marty Johnson is responsible for the marketing and global product launch strategies associated with Zebra’s High-performance, mobile, and RFID printer and associated software solutions and applications. He is well versed in the mobile and wireless technology needs of organizations implementing solutions in a variety of applications.
Marty has spent over 20 years in various global sales and marketing roles working for technology companies that include Siemens and Diebold, the self-service automation company.
Marty holds a computer science degree and MBA from Kent State University, in Ohio.
