David R. Brousell has been Editor-in-Chief of Managing Automation since 1998. Brousell started his career in technology journalism in 1978 at Electronic News. In 1985, he joined Datamation Magazine, and was named Editor-in-Chief in 1991. As Business Solutions Architect for ViewSonic Corporation, Paul is responsible for designing and recommending hardware and software architecture solutions. Most recently, he had a lead role in recommending and designing ViewSonic Corporation's new SAN solution for both Windows and UNIX environments. Paul is also responsible for ViewSonic Corporation's Oracle ERP database and applications software, including database tuning, monitoring, backup, and recovery. As lead developer for ViewSonic Corporation's ERP system, Paul mentors a global group of users in the latest technologies and the delivery of solutions for business users.
Russell Scherwin is Global Director of Product Marketing for Sterling Commerce, a subsidiary of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T). A frequent speaker at tradeshows and seminars, Russell's engaging style and skill communicating integration's business and societal impact has made him the top ranked speaker at multiple industry events. Russell furthers Sterling's leadership position in integration by helping organizations realize the strategic value of integration technology. Previously, Scherwin drove EMEA sales and marketing activities. As a management consultant, he has advised clients in the automotive, healthcare, media, consumer-products and telecommunications industries as a management consultant. Scherwin holds a BS in computer science from Binghamton University, and an MBA in finance and innovation from New York University's Leonard N. Sterling School of Business.
