Posted on Monday, January, 29, 2007, 9:15AM TOMASCO had a patchwork system of 14 different business process software programs running on four different platforms, creating numerous challenges (EDI errors, significant inventory issues and short shipments). They were also unable to secure an ISO 9000 certification.
After switching to Plexus Online, inventory was reduced by over 20%, work-in-process decreased by over 40%, and short shipping was eliminated. EDI problems were resolved and TOMASCO secured its ISO 9000 certification.
