Business intelligence software provider myDIALS this week rolled out a new version of its subscription-based operational performance management application that adds analytics for the everyday user.

Version 3.0 of the company’s self-named product raises operational equipment effectiveness (OEE) to a new level by wrapping real-time analytics around key performance indicators (KPIs) to help companies determine the root cause of performance issues. Presented in a personalized dashboard, the application includes mathematical charting capabilities, such as trend lines, forecast projections with error ranges, control charts, and Pareto charts that can be used to characterize the nature of a performance problem, the company said.

Delivered on a software as a service (SaaS) model, the application’s interface is flexible enough to be customized to deliver information pertinent to an individual’s role in the organization, as well as with colors and logos that can reinforce partner branding or a corporate image.

The latest offering, which includes myDIALS’ homegrown analytics engine, is designed for average users rather than business analysts, according to the company. It enables employees to constantly monitor performance, identify and characterize performance problems, make rapid decisions, and take corrective action to fix issues.
