COPENHAGEN — Operations management software vendor Wonderware on Thursday laid out an overarching two-year plan to transform its product suite into collaborative software that will allow executives, shop floor managers, partners, and customers to innovate and share information.
The anchor of the plan, revealed at the WonderWorld EMEA conference here, is a new enterprise manufacturing intelligence (EMI) product called Wonderware Intelligence Software. The company plans to offer it by the first quarter of 2010.
Wonderware also spelled out various short-term product upgrades that it plans to offer, starting next month.
“We want to become the platform vendor of choice in the automation industry,” declared Rashesh Mody, vice president of global product management, speaking to an audience of users and partners at Wonderware’s first annual EMEA conference.
