Acsis Inc., an SAP-based supply chain vendor, and interLink Logistics Technologies, a wireless provider, have entered a partnership to improve wireless material replenishment for automotive and discrete manufacturers using SAP R/3. Under the agreement, users of TigerLink, interLink's wireless device and call button for two-way communication on 802.11 and 802.11b networks, will be able to retrieve real-time data from the SAP system on the plant floor via the Acsis Data-Link interface. The combined offering is currently available. Acsis will act as an interLink reseller, but has future plans to embed the Acsis interface with the TigerLink tool.
