UOP (Des Plaines, IL) and Aspen Technology Inc. (Cambridge, MA) plan to combine the features of UOP's CASA (Computer Aided Schedule A) software with Aspen Tech's Zyqad to create a hybrid product to better facilitate collaborative design.
