Syspro Impact Software Inc. has rolled out a component-based framework that makes it easier to integrate applications with the company's flagship IMPACT Encore enterprise resource planning (ERP) products.
The framework, called e.net, provides access to IMPACT Encore's business logic through a standard interface and delivers IMPACT Encore's functionality as COM components. Syspro says e.net components can be accessed directly on an application server or remotely using the Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM).
"Being able to react rapidly to business events requires integration to ensure that event information is communicated to back-office systems," explains Syspro Impact Software president Brian Stein. "The e.net solution facilitates that integration."
