In a bid to make its wide portfolio of business-to-business integration, selling, and fulfillment products more relevant to manufacturers coping with specific vertical market challenges, Sterling Commerce yesterday announced new, extended relationships with several large, global systems integration service providers.
Accenture, Infosys, and Deloitte are among the integrators signing on to integrate Sterling’s products into their portfolios of offerings, according to Joel Reed, Sterling’s senior vice president for corporate marketing and strategic alliances, in an interview with Managing Automation.
The deal covers Sterling products that address manufacturers’ inquiry-to-cash, multi-channel commerce, supply chain management, and enterprise payments processes. Those products include Enterprise Application Integration, Business Process Management, Order Management, Supply Chain Visibility, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Catalogue Management, and Configuration, Price, and Quote Management applications.
The new alliances, Reed said, will allow Sterling to take a more active role in the implementation of its products via its work with partners.
