(NYSE:T) subsidiary, today announced availability of two solutions designed to help manufacturers drive higher margins by implementing more effective data synchronization and logistics compliance processes. The Sterling Commerce Global Data Synchronization Solution reduces the cost of dealing with non-standard data within the supply chain community. The Retail Compliance Kit, offered with the Sterling Networked Warehouse Management solution, widens already slim margins in the warehouse through pre-configured packing and shipping capabilities. "Industry analysts estimate that charge-backs from retailers for missed shipments or inaccurate information can shave off as much as 10 percent of a manufacturer's total revenue," said Scott Pulsipher, vice president of product management at Sterling Commerce.
