IT and business professionals can easily publish and automatically distribute interactive reports and guided analyses to hundreds or thousands of co- workers, partners, and customers

SOMERVILLE, Mass., May 14 -- Spotfire, Inc. (http://www.spotfire.com/), the Information Insight Company(SM), today announced Broadcast Services, which deliver the power of the Spotfire DXP 2.0 enterprise analytics platform to a wider base of decision-makers with more speed and flexibility than traditional business intelligence. The addition of Broadcast Services allows Spotfire DXP users to self-publish analyses, automatically generate updated files as the data changes, and broadcast the files to internal and external audiences more easily than ever before.

With Spotfire DXP enterprise analytics, business users can directly author and publish their own personalized analytic applications and interactive reports. The introduction of Spotfire Broadcast Services automates the update of the underlying data and the distribution to internal or external business users. Updates to analyses can occur on schedule or as the underlying data changes. Recipients can receive these "broadcasted" analyses and interactive reports via email link, offline analysis file, or corporate portal. They can then interact with the analysis, asking and answering their own new questions with flexibility. Unlike the reports from typical Business Intelligence systems, Spotfire analyses are completely interactive and allow users to freely ask new questions on-the-fly without being limited to what was preconfigured for them.
