Two well-known names in the warehouse management market today announced a partnership that will bring their respective technologies together for the benefit of their manufacturing and distribution customers.
Rugged mobile computer provider LXE Inc. has forged a new partnership with software maker IntelliTrack, whose self-named portfolio of products facilitates a host of warehouse processes, including inventory control and asset tracking, via bar code, RFID, batch, and WiFi-based data collection.
In particular, the alliance recognizes the interoperability of LXE’s MX7 and MX8 rugged handheld computers with IntelliTrack’s data collection software, which the company said is tailored to the needs of small and mid-sized customers. For cold-storage activities, LXE’s MX7CS now supports IntelliTrack applications, as does the MX8 handheld, a fixture of light industrial and supply chain environments.
“By combining LXE’s rugged hardware expertise with IntelliTrack’s comprehensive off-the-shelf software systems, customers now have new options to control, track, and manage anything that can be tagged or bar-coded,” said Will Daniel, COO of IntelliTrack, in a statement.
