| Keywords: | CPG business intelligence, product manufacturing business intelligence | Aiming squarely at the coveted mid-market, Oco, Inc. has introduced a suite of software-as-a-service business intelligence tools for industrial products and consumer packaged goods manufacturers. The Oco Industrial Products Solution and Oco Consumer Packaged Goods Solution contain modules with dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators in specific functional areas. The modules in both suites are Sales & Profitability, Sourcing & Procurement, Inventory, Quality & Production, Transportation & Logistics, Asset Management, and Services Performance. The pre-built packages can be tailored to meet specific company needs, according to Oco, which offers on-demand BI and data integration software. "What's new is the definition of these modules," Anil Chitkara, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Oco, said in an interview with Managing Automation. "This packaging allows mid-market companies to get a jumpstart" on using BI technology to gain efficiencies, improve service levels, and cut costs, he said. "They want a starting point...
