Enterprise applications provider Infor today released Infor CRM Business, a customer relationship management offering said to be tuned to the needs of mid-market companies and based on Microsoft Dynamics technology.

Infor, which like some of its enterprise applications competitors has grown by acquisition, already offers two CRM packages, Infor CRM Epiphany and Infor CRMi. Both are said to suit the top end of the market, with Epiphany tailored to the largest and most complex CRM implementations and CRMi best suited to large companies running IBM’s System i, or AS/400, platform.

Now comes Infor CRM Business, an alternative for midsize companies, a market in which Infor has traditionally focused most of its enterprise applications sales. Infor has built the new offering on Microsoft Dynamics technology through a partnership with well-known business software provider.

The Dynamics technology forms the core of Infor’s new CRM offering, providing functionality for sales force automation, customer service processes, and marketing functions. The software’s pedigree also lends it close integration to the Office suite and other Microsoft products.
