Business intelligence software provider Qlik Technologies, Inc. today announced the availability of QlikView 10, which the company said enables faster analytics and improved integration with customers’ existing BI, CRM, and ERP systems.

According to Anthony Deighton, QlikTech’s senior VP of products, the new release of the company’s flagship business intelligence offering “illustrates our continued commitment to simplicity — from a user perspective with search and speed, from a development perspective with extensions for customization, and from an IT perspective in terms of manageability.”

QlikView 10 includes an associative search function that works similarly to Google’s Instant Search, displaying query results as the user types. The search function also appears in listboxes on multiple dashboards, speeding answers to users’ questions, the company said.

Another feature that Deighton emphasized in a briefing with Managing Automation is the ability for users to add their own visuals, such as Mekko charts, to data files. The latest release of the business intelligence software also features customization options for visualization of maps, flow charts, and Flash animations, the company said.
