Transaction Time for Age Verification & Automatic Form Population Reduced by 95%
BLACKWOOD, N.J., June 20 -- Metrologic Instruments, Inc. today announced the release of EasyID, its first certified software plug-in for the TotalFreedom(TM) platform. EasyID parses bar code data found on government-issued identification cards for applications involving age verification or automatic electronic form population. This plug-in eliminates the need for host system software to process the encoded information contained within 1D and 2D barcodes found on documents such as military issued identification cards, driver''s licenses and driver''s permits.
