IQMS, which specializes in manufacturing ERP, today announced the latest release of its EnterpriseIQ ERP software with changes suggested by customers via the company’s collaboration portal.

EnterpriseIQ 7.7 owes many of its enhancements to the IQMS Community Server, introduced last year as the clearinghouse for development changes, the company said in its announcement. The server enables customers “to contribute their development ideas and to comment on ideas of others to help drive the system forward,” the company said.

The collaborative 7.7 release contains more than 400 revisions across all areas of the ERP package, including quality management, statistical process control, shop floor integration, CRM, scheduling, process costing, and human resources.

For example, an embedded workflow provides enhanced approval and reviewer capabilities for easy modification, and a dashboard library within Smart Page user interface displays information and metrics by specific business area, according to IQMS. In addition, a new employee portal lets workers update information, such as emergency contact data or tax withholding changes. And the archive functionality has been expanded to include detailed time segments and specifics.
