Click Commerce Inc. has acquired Allegis Corp. to expand its partner relationship management capabilities.
Allegis will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Click Commerce and has been funded with approximately $2 million, with about $10,000 paid out to previous Allegis shareholders.
"We've capitalized the entity in such a way that it can continue operations as we work to combine the companies," says Christy Mueller, Click Commerce vice president of marketing and business development.
Allegis brings partner profiling and partner performance measurement capabilities to Click Commerce's focus on commerce transaction and aftermarket sales, service, and support. No schedule has been set for integrating the products or companies.
"We don't want to make any rash decisions or cut off any level of customer support," says Mueller.
