Catalyst International Inc., a supplier of Web-based warehouse management products, reported net income of $586,000 for the fourth quarter ended December 21, 2000, compared with a net tax loss of $1.7 million last year. Revenue grew 10.2% to $10.4 million, from $9.4 million.
For the year, net income rose to $1.8 million, compared to a net loss of $5.6 million, on revenue up 3.6% to $42 million.
The company said highlights for the year were the purchase of its new fully Web-enabled WMS 8.0 release by 12 companies, including BASF, Parker Hannifin, Ultimate Electronics, and Maybelline.
In addition, Catalyst said that seven companies picked its WMS to extend their SAP R/3 supply chain execution capabilities.
