CDC Software Announces Plans for More Acquisitions

The ERP provider will focus on point solutions for supply chain management, project management, human resources management, and other enterprise applications as it looks to bulk up its SaaS strategy.

Enterprise applications provider CDC Software today said that its acquisition pipeline is strong, with near-term plans to add supply chain, project management, HRM, transportation, and ERP software to its already diversified portfolio of products.

Among mid-market ERP providers, CDC Software has been one of the most active acquirers since its debut as a public company in August 2009, adding TradeBeam, Truition, and Activplant to its stable, among others.

Today officials briefed investors and analysts on a multiyear strategy, already under way, to acquire more functionality that addresses the specific operational needs of CDC’s manufacturing and retail customer bases.
