Coinciding with the release of its third-quarter results last month, which showed a loss of $26 million, Ariba chief executive Larry Mueller suddenly resigned. Mueller was named CEO in April. Ariba did not offer an explanation for his departure. Keith Krach, Ariba's chairman, will act as interim CEO. Ariba's revenues for the quarter grew 6% to $85.3 million. The net loss amounted to $0.10 per share, $.02 better than estimates.
