Apriso Corp., the maker of the FlexNet operations execution system, has signed on Atos Origin as a global consulting partner in designing and implementing manufacturing operations management (MOM) software based on Apriso’s platform.
Under the agreement with Atos, the international IT services company can implement FlexNet for manufacturers seeking greater visibility into and control over their global operations. FlexNet goes beyond MES to synchronize plant operations with warehouse, maintenance, and quality processes, the companies said in a statement, increasing agility and operational performance across their global enterprises.
The deal follows a similar agreement with EDS, according to Tom Comstock, senior vice president of product management and marketing at Apriso.
