For mobile workforce vendor AirClic Inc., 2005 was a banner year. The company welcomed new CEO Tim Bradley last March, introduced its AirClic MP mobile platform that same month, and went on to post sales increases and customer growth of 300% for the year.
Judging by a recent Gartner poll, AirClic may be poised for similar gains this year. Gartner found that CIOs consider mobile workforce enablement one of the top three most important priorities in 2006. CEO Bradley attributes AirClic's success to the ease with which it enables a mobile workforce. In a statement, he said, "Until now, that has been cost prohibitive and a technological challenge for most businesses."
