Reduces time and cost of adapting E-Commerce sites to changing market and business dynamics

Chicago, Illinois and Toulouse, France, November 14, 2006 - Access Commerce (Euronext:

7424), a leading provider of multichannel commerce solutions, today announced the next release of the Cameleon Commerce Suite incorporating Web 2.0 technologies. With this release, companies can now easily customize the Cameleon E-Commerce platform without the need for programming. This minimizes the time and cost of both implementation and maintenance, enabling companies to act more quickly when launching new products, changing prices, announcing special offers and attacking new markets.

The latest version of Cameleon introduces several new functional and technical features:

o Electronic catalogs built with Ajax technology provide a clean, rich user experience

o Profile-driven shopping carts, quotation forms and commerce processes handle the

needs of different sales channels from a single E-Commerce platform

o Easy-to-use tools to generate quotes, proposals, reports and custom web pages

o An integrated business process management engine to optimize workflows

o Server clustering to support increased demands

In an increasingly competitive market, companies are constantly reacting to changing business and economic conditions, and those quickest to respond dominate. Speed and agility at the lowest cost are critical success factors. The new version of Cameleon can be customized quickly and easily without programming, enabling companies to prosper in this dynamic environment.

Cameleon leverages Web 2.0 technologies to provide a next-generation E-Commerce platform:

o Ajax has been used extensively throughout the new electronic catalog. It is faster and easier to use; animation and special effects are available to highlight information or promotional offers; advanced search functions make it easier to directly access desired

products, and drag-and-drop makes product comparison simple and fun.

o Shopping carts and quotation forms can be customized without programming and are

profile dependent to support different users: consumers, B2B customers, channel

partners, customer service reps or the direct sales force. Each channel has different

requirements and Cameleon can address each of them by enabling customization of

    interfaces and processes.

o Jasper-based reporting tools allow the generation of quotes, proposals, documents,

reports and custom web pages that meet the unique requirements and needs of each

user. With a light Java client that requires no programming or custom development, the

reporting engine can generate any type of document using Cameleon data or virtually

    any external data source.

o The JBoss jBPM workflow engine enables greater collaboration and automation of simple

to complex business processes to improve productivity and efficiency Visual process

modeling tools make it easy for business users to create and manage workflows.

Server clustering has been added to Cameleon to improve 24x7 platform availability, support improved absorption of peak loads and enable rapid adjustments to changing e-commerce strategies. The new service-oriented architecture is designed to fit in with existing enterprise technologies and systems.

"We designed the new version of Cameleon with end users in mind. Our customers want to

improve sales conversion rates on the web and to increase the efficiency and productivity of their sales representatives and channel partners throughout the sales processes," emphasizes Jacques Soumeillan, President and CEO of Access Commerce. "The combination of optimum flexibility and usability driven by Web 2.0 technologies with advanced functionality is a winning recipe. We've chosen an approach that allows our customers to "customize without programming" many important aspects of the platform including interfaces, processes and documents. The objective is to reduce implementation costs and times, as well as maintenance efforts in a world that continually needs to adapt."
