Imagine a tablet PC with the new 2nd generation Sandy Bridge i3/i5/i7 processor with complete access to the cloud via 3G or 4G. Habey USA is excited to unveil the new MITX-6910 Sandy Bridge cloud capable board. "Our goal to provide high-performance and reliable industrial embedded computing platforms to operate on the cloud this year is echoed in this powerful mini-ITX " said Bin Lin, CFO of Habey USA. "This board uses the new Sandy Bridge processor and SIM slots compatible with 3G and 4G that promotes for scalable cloud computing applications ideal for both digital signage applications as well as storage servers."
Habey USA''s MITX-6920 is a high performance board that delivers speed with flexibility on the use on cloud. The board supports the new Intel Sandy Bridge 2nd genereation i3/i5/i7 processor (Socket LGA 1155) and carries dual mini-PCIes with one corresponding SIM slot to allow for 3G/4G/GSM/FPGA/HSPDA. In addition, the dual Gigabit Ethernet on board with wake-on-LAN features allow for remote access. Rear input/output peripherals include four USBs, dual Ethernets, two DVI-Is, two serial RS-232 ports, keyboard and mouse ports, audio in/out, and mic-in. Additional internal headers include four sets of USB, four serial ports, internal GPIO, LVDS with a max resolution of 2560x1600, and the backplane connector for dual PCIe slot expansion. This compact mini 170mm x 170mm board provides a powerful solution from dual independent displays on quad digital signs to storage servers in need of scalable wireless cloud computing.
