QUEBEC CITY, Sept. 9 -- EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. (NASDAQ:EXFO)(NASDAQ:TSX:)(NASDAQ:EXF) announced today the release of new software features on the InterWatch R14 platform, the industry''s highest performance and most scalable Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)/Next-Generation (NGN) test platform.

Release 7.2 on the InterWatch R14 platform simulates up to 256,000 unique Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) subscriber addresses per chassis to support the migration of voice and video applications to the IPv6 addressing scheme.
