At its Solumina User Conference held this week in Newport Beach, CA, manufacturing operations management software provider iBASEt previewed the next major release of its Solumina product.
Scheduled for release during the fourth quarter of 2008, Solumina G7 contains extensions for standard JEE technologies, including enterprise service bus and Web services used to integrate ERP with engineering, CAD, and PLM systems, the company said. Solumina G7 also will include support for SAP, Oracle, and Dassault Systèmes products.
"The Solumina roadmap strategy is focused on three major areas: improving productivity, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO), and tracking ROI and key manufacturing metrics," said Conrad Leiva, vice president of product marketing at iBASEt.
