Abstract:i2, best known for its supply chain software offerings, will host lean manufacturing workshops in June and August.

As i2 continues to weigh its strategic options as a business, the supply chain software specialist is also busy plying its Total Factory Management program, which encapsulates operational disciplines such as lean.

To that end, lean aspirants in the Dallas area can attend i2's "Lean Manufacturing for Practitioners" workshop next week, June 23-26, or August 18-21, when the program will be offered again.

Among those whom the workshops target, i2 lists plant, material, and operations managers, as well as production supervisors and schedulers. The class will focus on teaching lean best practices that attendees can apply as soon as they return to work. For more information, visit www.i2.com/wisdom/lean.
