Enterprise software provider QAD has agreed to acquire the assets of FullTilt Solutions, which include the product information management (PIM) software within FullTilt's Perfect Product Suite. The family of PIM products synchronizes and manages product information across a company's internal operations and its trading partners.
Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed, but QAD said it intends to continue developing the FullTilt products and to extend the suite as part of its strategy to address the needs of customers in its core vertical markets, including automotive, consumer products, electronics, food and beverage, industrial, and life science manufacturing.
QAD said it will continue to deliver services and support to existing users of FullTilt's products without interruption. FullTilt co-founder and President Bob Moyer has joined QAD to head the company's PIM Product unit.
