V-Soft, Inc., a San Jose, CA Oracle reseller and a software maker in its own right, announced the release of VPRMS, software to help manufacturers and distributors automate the process of product recalls.
Primarily aimed at companies in industries such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical devices, and consumer goods, VPRMS is deployed via a SaaS model and features the ability to import consignee/customer, contact, and product data from various systems of record. Standard reports cover recall activities, returned inventory, replacement inventory requirements, and estimated accounts receivable credits.
V-Soft is a reseller of Oracle’s CRM On Demand and Oracle Agile PLM, and also provides outsourced product engineering services in the areas of embedded systems, mobile platforms, and mobile applications.
