Industrial automation and manufacturing intelligence software provider Iconics has announced its participation in SAP's Future Factory Initiative (FFI), a joint effort between SAP Research and several external partner organizations that includes a Living Lab, a Real-World Manufacturing Testbed, and a Center of Excellence. SAP Research uses Iconics' GENESIS64, a 64-bit, OPC-integrated, Web-enabled HMI/SCADA suite in various FFI activities.
The SAP initiative is focused on demonstrating the potential benefits of integrated manufacturing business processes in the real world. Six demonstrations are currently available covering the product value chain, including supply chain, warehouse, production, sales, and maintenance processes. [Click to continue] |
