Hoover’s Adds More Contacts, Research to Platform

The business information provider updates its customer prospecting platform with more than 3 million additional e-mail addresses and new research reports from Morningstar.

Business information specialist Hoover’s this week announced an update to its customer prospecting technology, with new features intended to connect sales teams at manufacturers and other companies with customer prospects and provide them with more information on those with whom they do business.

Hoover’s Connect Mail business information platform acts as an enhancement to a company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. The latest version adds 3 million e-mail contacts to its vast pool of potential prospects, raising the total to more than 10 million.

“This gives Hoover’s customers direct access to hidden influencers, middle managers, and others who regularly drive purchasing decisions,” the company said in a statement. Sales and marketing teams who use Hoover’s can now “build more targeted lists for direct marketing campaigns,” according to Hoover’s.

Also new to the latest version of the Connect Mail platform is access to approximately 1,800 Morningstar Equity Research Reports.
