Engineering/design automation and data integration software developer Etrage LLC is sponsoring an application development contest for PTC users. Etrage, a PTC development partner, is challenging the PTC/USER community to develop and submit ideas for the best new third-party application for PTC's ProENGINEER Wildfire or Windchill programs. Specifically, applications are sought for engineering automation, data integration, triggers, or other Pro/TOOLKIT programs. Three Pro/ENGINEER users will help Etrage judge entries to the IWBIWYBI ("If We Build It Will You Buy It") Challenge, evaluating feasibility of development, impact on the user community, and number of similar ideas submitted. Etrage will then build the winning application, and the company will select up to three contest entrants, among those submitting similar ideas, to receive it for free.
