Cegedim Dendrite, a provider of customer management software, this week announced that it recently added four pharmaceutical companies to its Nucleus Customer Master Data Management service, three of them among the top 25 pharma companies in the world.
Cegedim Dendrite began offering its Nucleus product via the software-as-a-service model in 2009, and said in this week’s statement that the new delivery model has helped the offering gain traction in the market. Although Cegedim specializes in the life sciences market, its Nucleus technology aims to address a pain point common across all industries: creating a master data record for each of a company’s customers and prospects.
“The service establishes a master definition of the customer in a centralized repository and implements data governance and quality processes while linking in data verification and validation services to maintain and manage master entities,” the company said in a statement. “It creates accurate master customer views to help drive business decisions.”
Cegedim did not name the new customers. The company is part of the France-based Cegedim S.A. Group, and, in addition to the Nucleus master data management tool, offers CRM and marketing and compliance tools for the life sciences industry.
