ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd., a provider of workforce management solutions, introduced the ClickSoftware Mobility Suite, which allows field workers to connect to enterprise systems via their mobile devices.
Paper can be eliminated, business processes shortened, and key performance indicators (KPIs) tracked with the electronic capture of data through forms, bar codes, RFID, and cameras. Real-time location monitoring also provides visibility of mobile operations, allowing organizations to see where resources are and what they are doing, and spot and resolve problems quickly, the company said.
By integrating with back-end systems, ClickSoftware’s Mobility Suite can update billing systems, record parts inventory in real time, track assets with GIS, access customer information, and record time and attendance, according to the company.
The Mobility Suite has been designed to enable system administrators to easily configure the system to comply with business requirements without expensive coding or programming skills. Visual configuration tools are said to make it simple to turn business requirements into processes and mobile workflows. And the software can all be deployed and maintained remotely, significantly reducing the total cost of ownership, according to the company.
