Castle CRM is helping to move Sage’s Saleslogix customer relationship management system to the cloud. The Sage reseller announced this week that it has created a cloud-based version of Sage’s Saleslogix software, which is used by thousands of companies for sales and marketing automation and customer service management. To complement the cloud offering, Castle built a data migration tool that helps customers switch from non-Sage CRM systems to Saleslogix. Tony Castle, CEO of Castle CRM, said the new cloud-based offering is tailored to assuage customers’ concerns about their valuable sales data. "Data security is paramount for our customers because they will not risk co-mingling their data with a vendor's other client data,” he said in a statement. “Our customers want secure, flexible options and this is what Sage allows us to offer." Castle has already deployed Sage Saleslogix version 7.5.2 as an on-demand application for M.F. Higgins and Co., a Connecticut-based commercial flooring contractor. CRM vendors were some of the first to embrace the cloud computing model. Salesforce.com pioneered the market for multi-tenant customer relationship management, a model it continues to market.
