Enterprise manufacturing intelligence and quality execution systems provider Camstar Systems Inc. has signed a global alliance with IT consulting company Tata Consultancy Services to provide life science manufacturers an integrated manufacturing platform based on SAP's Perfect Plant initiative.
The partnership will offer consulting, implementation, and support for Camstar customers in North America, Europe, and Asia, according to a prepared statement from Camstar.
Camstar's products are said to enable rapid change needed for innovation and risk management to improve manufacturers' product quality, ensure adoption of new processes, and maximize production yields. TCS brings ties to the life sciences vertical market, as well as business process and best practices expertise.
SAP's Perfect Plant provides a full view into plant operations and integration with business processes. SAP and Camstar have already integrated Camstar's eDHR Intelligence 4.2 composite application, which provides real-time communication of manufacturing data and global visibility into manufacturing through a role-based composite user experience.
