Inteva, a tier 1 maker of automotive instrument panels, window lift systems, and other subassemblies, reported recently that it selected Plexus Online to help run its global operations, which span 17 sites.
A key feature of the implementation will be the automation of Inteva's in-house quality management system. The automotive supplier had developed its quality assurance system to monitor and manage production operations. As it transitions away from its legacy software system, Inteva will use Plexus to automate the quality function; Plexus' browser-based applications will give workers access to a wide variety of manufacturing-related information.
