Gigabit Ethernet I/O Chassis promotes flexible operation. Dec 10 2007-
Featuring 3U, rectangular form factor, DNR-12-1G RACKtangle(TM) Chassis supports 30+ I/O modules to suit any application requirement. Integral 12 I/O slots provide up to 300 analog inputs, 384 analog outputs, 576 digital I/O, 96 counter or quadrature channels, 144 ARINC-429 channels, and/or 48 Serial or CAN-bus ports. Board is fully supported by LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, DASYLab, or any application supporting ActiveX, OPC or Modbus TCP control.
ARINC 429 Avionics Bus Interfaces come in 3 configurations. Mar 19 2007-
Software-selectable for 100 or 12.5 kHz operation, 12-channel DNA-429-5xx series is offered in configurations with 6 Tx and 6 Rx channels; 12 Rx channels; or 4 Tx and 8 Rx channels. Receive channels include automatic Label filtering, and filter may be set to forward data from 1-255 Labels. It may also be disabled so all data is captured, regardless of source. Transmit channels may be set to transmit asynchronously or based upon hardware-controlled scheduler.
DAQ Cubes feature fiber optic interface. Jan 11 2007-
Based on 100BASE-FX, DNA-FPPC Series of Data Acquisition and Control Cubes each consist of core module with processor and network interface, along with 3 or 6 open I/O slots or layers. Fiber optic interface extends max distance between PowerDNA I/O Cube and host computer from to 2 km. Single-mode fiber interface is also available, extending max distance to 20 km. Fiber is virtually immune to EMI and offers infinite electrical isolation between host computer and I/O Cube.
Data Loggers/Recorders require no programming. Dec 15 2006-
Supporting sample rates up to 100 samples/sec on each I/O channel or port, UEILogger(TM) Series Cubes each contain Logger engine as well as 3 or 6 I/O slots. Logger is matched to user application by installing appropriate I/O boards. Single 4 x 4.1 x 5.8 in. cube may provide up to 150 A/D channels or 288 digital I/O. Data is logged onto standard SD Cards and may be retrieved via unit's Ethernet port or directly using standard SD Card reader.
Analog Input Board has 25 channels with 24-bit resolution. Nov 6 2006-
Model DNA-AI-225 offers max sampling rate of 1 kS/sec per channel for total of 25 kS/sec for board. Separate A/D converter for each channel eliminates noise, offsets multiplexed input errors and allows simultaneous sampling. Using DNA-AI-225, up to 150 analog input channels fit in a single Ethernet-based I/O Cube measuring 4.0 x 4 x 5.8 in. Unit includes QNX drivers, software drivers for Windows applications, and drivers for most real time operating systems.
I/O Board and SYNC Interface are available for PowerDNA cube. Oct 17 2006-
Used as interface in serial server applications, Model DNA-SL-501, serial I/O layer/board offers 4 independent, isolated RS-232, 422, or 485 ports with data transfer rates up to 1 Mbps in RS-422/485 mode. SYNC hardware synchronization interface allows DAQ applications to be initiated by, or clocked by user supplied digital signals and allows multiple Cubes to be synchronized with each other.
Analog Input Board provides high-density DAQ solution. Sep 8 2006-
Analog input layer/board, DNA-AI-207, features 16 differential input channels with max sampling rate of 1 kS/s per channel, 18-bit resolution, and 11 input ranges from ±10 V to ±12.5 mV FS. Seventeenth channel is provided for measuring Cold Junction Compensation sensor. Along with input offset auto-zero, which removes offset fluctuations over time and temperature, board features oversampling engine that lets it oversample inputs and automatically average them in real time.
Multifunction Cards deliver 3 MHz performance. Aug 27 2004-
PowerDAQ Series PD2-MF-3M/12 offers aggregate throughput rates of 3 MHz on 16 or 64 analog input channels with 12-bit resolution. Units include instrumentation amplifiers for either high- or low-level signals. Standard onboard FIFO is 16 k samples with options for FIFO buffers of 32 or 64 k samples. Cards feature dual 12-bit analog outputs each running at 200 k samples/sec, 16 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs, and 3 counter/timers. Support software is included.
Digital I/O Card combines optoisolation and high voltage. Jul 16 2004-
PCI-bus card, Model PD2-DIO-128i supplies 64 digital inputs and 64 digital outputs, each line with its own optoisolator. I/Os are configured in fixed banks of 16 lines. Each line runs at 10 kHz max and works from external supply voltage of 12-32 V. Outputs generate 500 mA/channel peak and 200 mA/channel continuous with max of 1 A/port. Operating on 3.3 or 5 V PCI-bus backplanes, board includes 33 MHz DSP that offloads host processor of supervisory duties.
