Robotic Workcell features dual welding robots. Dec 13 2006-
ArcWorld® IV-6200 features dual EA1400N Expert Arc welding robots with multiple robot control, high-speed ferris-wheel positioner, integrated welding package, and operator interface. Independent drive on each of 3-positioner axes enables operator to index load station or allows both stations to turn while positioner sweeps. Available with 250/750 kg payloads, MRM2-250/750M3X positioner comes in lengths of 2.0 and 3.0 m between mounting surfaces, and provides turning dia of 1.3 m.
Wire Feeder/Interface is equipped with 4 geared feed rolls. Dec 13 2006-
Rated at 500 A at 100% duty cycle with max speed of 750 ipm, HyperFeed II optimizes weld starts and can be interfaced with robots that use NX100, XRC, MRC, and ERC controllers. Features include indicators for power supply status and I/O status, low-inertia drive system, 0.9/1.2 mm feed rolls, motor control, and LED wire feed speed display. Unit has outputs for optional air blast and wire brake solenoid, and inputs for impact sensor trip, impact sensor override, and 3 channels of 0-14 Vdc input.

Featuring Motoman EA-Series Expert Arc welding robot partially enclosed by cylindrical safety enclosure, ArcWorld® C-500 allows robot to access parts through opening in front of enclosure. Two MHTH headstock positioners with 4.3 in. dia through-holes for tooling connections are integrated into robot riser. Robot accommodates parts/tooling with span of 39.4 in. and diameter of 43.3 in. High-speed powered roll-up doors safeguard operator from robot station during welding.
Robot Controller operates up to 4 robots from single point. May 14 2004-
Based on Windows CE, Model NX100 features 6.5 in. color touchscreen with compact flash card slot, and standard Ethernet port with TCP/IP and FTP protocols. Support of optional web server allows remote monitoring and diagnosis through Internet or local network. Controller offers integrated soft PLC with 1,024 I/O, support for ladder programs, and graphical ladder editor. It connects to variety of Fieldbus networks, including DeviceNet, ProfiBus, and EtherNet/IP.
Operator Station provides HMI for robot systems and PLCs. May 14 2004-
MotoHMI(TM) provides touch-screen operator interface that allows user to control robot system, view production data, correct machine malfunctions, view manuals and prints, and view and debug PLC ladder programming. Powered by 820 MHz Pentium® III processor, package includes industrial PC with 20 GB hard drive, 15 in. flat panel monitor, mouse, UPS, and 2 expansion slots. Ethernet port is provided for communication with Motoman robot controller.

Expert Spot 6-Axis Models ES165N and ES200N offer 363.8 and 441 lb payloads, respectively. Both feature 104.4 in. reach and repeatability of ±0.008 in. Design routes servo gun cables and utilities through robot's upper arm, extending replacement of internal cables to 24,000 hours. Able to operate up to 4 robots, Model NX100 Control features Windows CE programming pendant with color touchscreen display, integrated soft PLC functions, and password protection.
Welding Robots eliminate cable interference. May 14 2004-
Operated via NX100 robot controller, Expert Arc robots EA1400N and EA1900N feature internal cabling design that allows them to work in tight spaces or on workpieces positioned close to manipulator arm. T-axis can rotate torch ±200° without cable interference. With repeatability of 0.003 in., 6-axis EA1400N has 54.7 in. horizontal and 95.6 in. vertical reach, while EA1900N features 75 in. horizontal and 134.6 in. vertical reach.
Pre-Engineered Workcell processes medium to large parts. May 14 2004-
ArcWorld® V-6300 features 3 overhead-mounted, 6-axis EA1400 Expert Arc welding robots configured to facilitate tool changes. Controlled by one XRC 2001 robot controller, all robots have 6.6 lb payload and 54.6 in. horizontal reach with ±0.003 in. repeatability. Workcell design provides part positioning on robot and operator stations simultaneously. Ferris-wheel type positioner includes two 2,646 lb capacity headstocks.
