Pin-out type 2 compliant module has 5 x PCI Express x1 lanes, 3 x SerialATA ports, and 8 x USB 2.0 ports, along with Gigabit Ethernet. Clock speed can be dynamically reduced, and chipset logic recognizes whether data is stored on processor's on-chip cache memory or in RAM.
