I/O Module facilitates integration with CANopen network.
Nov 6 2006 - With plug-and-play functionality, Model CAN-IPM-01 lets OEMs integrate various external sensors and actuators into their distributed motion control system with appropriate I/O interfaces and preferred form factor and connectors. Board-mounted CAN I/O processor module has nine configurable 8-bit DIO ports, 12 analog ports that convert 0-3 Vdc signals into 12-bit values, 12 PWM outputs, 8 digital inputs for CAN node address and bus bit rate, and 2 outputs for CAN bus status.

Linear Motors double pick-and-place efficiency.
Oct 26 2006 - Equipped with 2 independent load-positioning Forcers, each controlled by its own Xenus Micro controller, direct drive ServoTube linear motors enable pick-and-place to positioning 2 items in time usually required for one. Multiple forcers run on single rail bearing and pick twin objects with one center-to-center distance and then place them elsewhere at different center-to-center distance. Forcers develop up to 80 lb peak drive force and 3 m/sec peak velocity each.

Control Sub-System provides fast response positioning.
Aug 4 2006 - Offering drop-in replacement for ballscrew and pneumatic positioners, Sub-System consists of direct drive ServoTube actuator, driven by Micro Xenus controller, which develops 10 A peak output and operates on 120-240 Vac. Actuator requires no external encoder for position feedback, and its magnetic circuit enables integral solid state sensor to provide 12 micron repeatability. Sub-System develops velocity to 3.8 m/sec and peak drive force to 87 lb.

Panel-Mount Servo Amplifier offers seven operating modes.
Jul 5 2006 - Suited for controlling AC brushless and DC brush motors, XSJ series Micro Xenus amps are compatible with various command signal sources and accept step-and-direction commands. They run on 100 to 240 Vac, 50/60 Hz and come in 3 models that cover 2, 6, and 10 A peak power ranges. Single amp can be used for various stand-alone and network-controlled applications. Series offers several motion control modes and works with feedback from position, velocity, and commutation signal sources.
