Software helps manage IT physical infrastructure.
Apr 2 2007- Providing device management, alerting, and reporting functions, InfraStruXure Central v4.0 offers system for rapid problem resolution of physical and environmental issues. System scales from simple wiring closet monitoring to full enterprise management of data centers and remote facilities. Additional applications can be added to provide centralized environmental monitoring, video surveillance, rack and data center access control, and ITIL-based capacity and change management.

Power Supply System targets wiring closets and IT rooms.
Dec 12 2006- Facilitating quick selection and deployment for IT environments, InfraStruXure® architecture speeds up design process by integrating UPS, rack, and rack-mount power distribution in single part number. System is available in 2-post, 4-post, or full rack enclosure options, and with 1.0-12.8 kW UPSs, cable management brackets, and optional service offerings. Rack Manager provides UPS, rack temperature, and humidity levels through single IP address.

Cooling Unit is suited for wiring closets and server rooms.
Nov 21 2006- Capable of providing up to 7 kW of cooling capacity, InfraStruXure® InRow(TM) SC has modulating capacity control and variable speed fans providing required amount of cooling even in lightly loaded situations. Network manageability feature via web, SMNP, and Telnet helps in predictive failure notification while hot-swappable fan modules minimize mean-time-to-recovery. Self contained 12 in. wide (half-rack) solution helps measure and report cooling capacity for real-time capacity management.

Power Pack extends hours of operation for mobile devices.
Jul 14 2006- Utilizing lithium polymer battery cells, Mobile Power Pack can generate up to 55 hours of additional music time for MP3 devices and 8-10 hr of additional email and talk time for smartphones. Rechargeable battery weighs slightly over 3 oz and comes with ac to USB power adapter and USB to Mini B power cable. It charges most mobile devices using manufacturer cables, but use of APC's USB Charging Cables is recommended to ensure compatibility.

Data Center Power Systems scale up to 60 kW per rack.
Mar 6 2006- Integrated InfraStruXure(TM) Systems provide UPS power, power distribution, and cooling in standardized rack-based architecture. InRow cooling solutions feature modular design that allows for placement within row of racks to provide predictable cooling infrastructure in data center. InfraStruXure Manager allows customers to proactively manage entire system from single management platform.

Assessment Service aids in blade server deployment.
Jan 18 2006- Blade Readiness Assessment Service determines feasibility of successfully deploying blade servers within current data center installations. Service takes into account data center NCPI components such as power, cooling, facility, and rack capabilities as well as management systems. For each assessment, service provides report that identifies constraints and offers power and cooling enhancement options as well as optimal blade deployment strategies.

Fuel Cell System provides hours of power generation.
Jul 8 2005- Suited for IT applications with high availability requirements, InfraStruXure(TM) with Integrated Fuel Cells utilizes architecture that integrates power, cooling, management, and services in rack-optimized design. It incorporates modular polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells and allows IT project managers to stack up to three 10 kW modules per rack for scalable solution. Energy is stored and supplied to system via bottled hydrogen.

Networking Systems offer pre-packaged IT solution.
Feb 17 2005- InfraStruXure(TM) Systems provide turnkey solution for IT managers addressing disaster recovery and converged voice and data applications. Single-rack configurations for wiring closets and computer rooms feature base unit with UPS, PDU, network management card, blanking panels, cable management, data partitions, and expansion racks. Multi-rack configurations for data centers include N+1 power and cooling, peak capacity of 20 kW per rack, and integrated management software.

Notebook Battery provides up to 8 hr of continuous runtime.
Jan 5 2005- Weighing less than 28 oz, Universal Notebook Battery offers 15-24 V options that users can set via rotary voltage switch. Input/output power port provides way to charge and power battery using laptop's power adapter, while thermal management features allow battery to operate inside notebook cases. Additional mobile products include retractable telephone and network cables, optical travel mouse, USB battery extender, and surge protector.

Modular UPS Systems feature redundant, scalable design.
Aug 23 2004- Available in tower- and rack-mount versions, Symmetra® LX Series offers 5 models from 4-16 kVA N+1 redundant. All utilize hot-swappable power, battery, and intelligence modules. Extended run connector and communication card enables hot-install of intelligent extended-run battery frames. Accessible via web browser, Telnet, or SSH, interface allows user to remotely reboot equipment, monitor environmental conditions, configure/receive event notification, and recommended actions.
