May 17 2005 - AdeptViper(TM) Robots combine 6-axis arm design with SmartControl(TM) software platform, allowing 6-axis robotics to be used in small part assembly and material handling manufacturing. Models s650 and s850 are designed for either table-mounting or ceiling-mounting and have 5 kg payload capacity.

Vision Guidance System integrates with SCARA robots.
May 10 2005 - PC-based iSight combines application toolset, vision software, vision and vision-to-robot calibration wizards, camera, lens, and accessories. Vision technology is based on HexSight Locator featuring multi-model and built-in calibration support. System works seamlessly with Cobra i-series SCARA robots, facilitating development and use of vision location, guidance, and inspection applications.

AdeptViper s650 has 653 mm reach and 12 in. cycle time of 0.49 sec. AdeptViper s850 has 854 mm reach and 0.59 sec. Both robots can be either table-mounted or ceiling-mounted and have 5 kg payload capacity.

Dec 23 2004 - HexSight v3.3 PC-based machine vision library is available as ActiveX controls with support for .NET development environment, and DLL or static C++ libraries for integration into vision applications. Model-based Locator provides accurate location of sub-features of varying scale and rotation. Tools such as Edge Locator, Caliper, Blob Analyzer, and Geometric Finder are used once acquisition device has processed images and parts have been positioned by Locator.
