Architected from the ground up to be a manufacturing system, FactoryTalk ProductionCentre provides full traceability and connection between components of manufacturing such as material, users, equipment, and work orders. In addition to a set of standard applications, the integrated suite includes reporting and analysis, configuration tools, integration tools and full data management -- all built using open, standard J2EE technology.

Key Features

• Tracks WIP at serialized unit, lot (including splits and merges) or work order level
• Provides and enforces dynamic workflow-based routings for rework loops
• Enforces manufacturing processes, including routings and BOM
• Maintains complete electronic device and batch history records (DHR/BHR) including operations, operators, equipment, components, test results, defects and rework
• Supports bar-code scanning, RFID and direct integration with equipment
• Includes configurable screens for complex operations and user interface requirements
• Manage factory and field repair orders with multiple return scenarios including advanced exchange, return to factory, depot repair, return for credit, and upgrade
• Revives "as-built" and "as-maintained" history, no matter where unit was built or repaired previously
• Ensures that received units matches the units specified on repair order
• Tracks repair orders through repair shop floor, providing visibility into WIP, queues, cycle time
