| A | I'm not aware of any virtual reality simulations being applied to Lean planning and design. But I am aware of at least one factory floor simulation model that is used to model Flow and assist in redesign of Flow through the factory floor -- Lean Manufacturing Systems Inc.. Factory Logic and Pelion Systems incorporate stochastic models of production flow (note: these are not virtual reality models) that are used to establish Heijunka (leveled) production schedules. |
