Operational Excellence, one of MA's eight Progressive Manufacturing disciplines, is a concept that preaches the use of Six Sigma and other continuous improvement principles, as well as various automation and wireless technologies, to save time, money and effort. This is often done by analyzing manufacturing and supply chain performance metrics such as Labor and Capital Expenditure, Inventory and Working Capital reduction to achieve operational benefits across the enterprise.
