Q

Hi, Are there any metrics about how much customization is necessary when implementing an off-the-shelf (packaged) MES product? I mean, if I have to customize the product to my company's operations processes, what is the percentage of changes/customization we have to do in the off-the-shelf product? Another question: Is it more common to use an off-the-shelf product or to develop a new one (maybe from scratch) when implementing an MES program/project? Is there any metrics about this last question?
